Edvard Munch, the artist behind one of the most iconic painting in modern history, "The Scream", made a legacy by garnering one of the highest paid in auction sale for his masterpiece. (see post).
The highest bid for one of the editions of the painting was $119,922,500.00 which was won by an anonymous telephone caller. The bidding began at $50 million.
